Glendale Jaycees Phone: (818)241-3777 The purpose of the Glendale Junior Chamber of Commerce is to
give young adults (ages 21-40) the opportunity for individual development,
leadership, management training, and community service. The Glendale
Jaycees offer a wide array of leadership and personal development
activities, along with the skills gained through community involvement.
They also offer the opportunity to meet and work with interesting people
and to enrich your social and business contacts with people of similar
age, economic position, and interest.

To give its members "hands on" leadership training, the Glendale Jaycees undertake numerous community service projects throughout the year. After a new member has participated in these projects, he or she is encouraged o seek positions of additional responsibility within the organization, culminating with service as an officer or the chair of a project. In this way, members recive valuable management experience, often far in advance of what could be obtained in the business community.
As with many other civic organizations, serving the community is an important aspect of the mission, and the Glendale Jaycees are proud to belong to that group of community minded organizations. The Jaycee Creed states, "Service to humanity is the best work of life," and what better way to serve than by servicing the community in which we live and work.
