Background
Junior Chamber International (JCI) is a worldwide federation of young professionals and entrepreneurs serving thousands of communities spanning the globe. Young men and women of all creeds, races and nationalities between the ages of 18 and 40 are encouraged to join. The organization also urges involvement through cooperation with businesses and governments in local, state and regional communities.
The young people who join the organization grow personally and professionally through activities in five Areas of Opportunity: Business Contacts; Management Training and Experience; Individual Growth and Personal Development; Community Involvement; and International Opportunities.
Businesses small and large find that cooperation with Junior Chamber chapters benefits them greatly in terms of publicity, goodwill in their communities and financial strength. Governments small and large discover that cooperation with local chapters can mean anything from assisting in the building of a much-needed city park to supporting a fund-raising drive for research to find a cure for cancer or AIDS.

The International Business Network (IBN) is an international Junior Chamber program that provides global networking opportunities for economic and business development. JCI strongly supports business development in all nations as a means to eliminate poverty and human suffering.
Junior Chamber offers its members managerial training and experience as team members and leaders, including the opportunity to hold office at the local, regional, national and international levels of the organization.
