Volunteer Opportunities
Tri-Valley Special Olympics relies on the assistance and support of hundreds of volunteers at all levels to conduct its program. Volunteers may contribute a few hours one day a year or commit to coaching a sport one morning or evening a week for a training season.

Volunteer positions encompass everything from Area Director and committee memebers to serving other key positions ranging from Sports Management Team members, medical team, coach, official, scorer, event planner, photograhper, secretary, or fundraiser to positions fulfilling vital everyday duties like driving, serving meals, and staffing cheer teams.

Volunteers may join Tri-Valley Special Olympics as individuals or through groups made up of civic and fraternal organizations or employee groups. Volunteers are motivated and rewarded by the ardent efforts and excited reactions of Special Olympics athletes who benefit greatly from the support and involvement of each volunteer.
