  YMCA of Glendale

...a vaccine to keep kids from
  • fooling around with drugs
  • feeling lonely
  • getting drawn into gangs
  • being scared
  • drinking
  • hatred

...a vaccine to keep kids

  • strong
  • confident
  • caring
  • honest
  • giving
  • respectful
  • responsible

That vaccine is the YMCA.

And it's effective. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of intervention...

But it's not fashionable. There's no obvious victim. No showers of media coverage.

The YMCA of Glendale provides values-based programs to nurture the healthy development of children and teens, support families and strengthen the greater Glendale community. No child in need is ever turned away.

People who have witnessed the YMCA's life-changing work give back to the YMCA. Their donations have kept the work of the YMCA of Glendale going year after year, for the past 70+ years.

As Glendale has grown by leaps and bounds, so has the need for the YMCA's character-development programs. Unfortunately, we run out of money before we run out of kids.

Please support the work being done in your own backyard! Help build strong kids, strong families, strong communities.
