Rotarians meet weekly for fellowship and interesting programs, and emphasize local scholarships and projects to carry out their goals locally as well as around the world. Rotary's Polio Plus campaign to rid the world of polio and five other childhood diseases by the year 2005 is ahead of schedule, with over 150 countries declared polio-free.
