Brookside Park (near the Rose Bowl)
On any given afternoon or evening, you'll find hundreds (literally, hundreds) of people walking, jogging, bicycling, skating, and pushing strollers along the beautiful tree-shaded road which encircles the Brookside Golf Course and the Rose Bowl. There are public restroom facilities nearby, water, grass fields, and plenty of parking. The variety of people and activities makes for an interesting and fun walk (about 3 miles around the outside, or shorter loops around the playing fields).           CW

Interested in women and men's evening or daytime walking groups for health and excecise. I am a ph.d in Counseling Psychology, and a marriage and family therapist in the area. walking is good for the mental health of our community. doing it with others is motivational as well as fun, and a way to meet people. I deal with individuals who have fibromyalgia, and am listed in a book "when muscle pain will not go away." I have this disease, which is directly related to chronic fatigue as well. I am interested in working with people like this. Happy to give my email address out.

Thanks for the message, Diane. We'd also like to know about walking clubs and good places to walk in the local area (the greater Burbank - Glendale - Pasadena area). Please let us know what you find out!
