Brookside Park (near the Rose Bowl)
On any given afternoon or evening, you'll find hundreds (literally, hundreds) of people walking, jogging, bicycling, skating, and pushing strollers along the beautiful tree-shaded road which encircles the Brookside Golf Course and the Rose Bowl. There are public restroom facilities nearby, water, grass fields, and plenty of parking. The variety of people and activities makes for an interesting and fun walk (about 3 miles around the outside, or shorter loops around the playing fields). CW

I am a ph.d in Counseling Psychology, and a marriage and family therapist in the area. walking is good for the mental health of our community. doing it with others is motivational as well as fun, and a way to meet people. I deal with individuals who have fibromyalgia, and am listed in a book "when muscle pain will not go away." I have this disease, which is directly related to chronic fatigue as well. I am interested in working with people like this. Happy to give my email address out.
