To ensure the success of our media partners, we are looking for a strong and experienced Publisher Manager. This person will make sure that the best media brands are monetised as well as they can be and that all their expectations are fulfilled.
Objectives of this Role
- Maintain and develop relationships across all levels of many major media publishers
- Manage end-to-end publisher integrations including auditing placements and quality control
- Understand the publishers’ strategic objectives and demonstrate how C Wire’s platform capabilities help fund their journalism
- Develop annual strategic account plans to achieve revenue growth for publishers
- Plan and execute quarterly business review that will facilitate revenue growth and ensure publisher satisfaction with C Wire’s platform and services
- Monitor and analyze metrics to identify issues and opportunities, and proactively take initiatives to improve results
- Advocate for publisher needs across all C Wire teams
- Significant travel will be require
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 years of client-facing experience in the digital media or advertising industry, ideally on the monetisation side of a publisher
- Outstanding relationship management and customer service skills to go the extra mile for your clients
- Proficient in English and German
- Highly motivated, resourceful and proactive, ideally with a strong affinity for journalism
- Experience working effectively with cross functional teams and all levels of management
- Self-starter capable of planning, driving and implement initiatives
- Basic understanding of core web technologies with knowledge of concepts such as header bidding and the desire to learn more
- Strong analytical skills including standard measurement KPIs that result in actionable insights
- Solution-orientation and pragmatic approach to fast-approaching challenges
